Medical episode leaves one dead at Harry Reid Airport in Las Vegas, NV


Tragically, a 63-year-old driver passed away on Monday night after experiencing an unexpected medical episode while driving in the long-term parking garage at Harry Reid International Airport. Las Vegas Metro Police responded to the scene at around 9:16 p.m. in the Terminal 3 parking garage, where a gray 2013 Mercedes Benz GLK had collided with traffic-control barriers. The driver of the Mercedes was taken to Desert Springs Hospital for treatment, but despite all the life-saving measures, medical personnel were unable to save him. The cause and manner of death are under investigation by the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner.

Help in a Crisis

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours.
