Elderly woman killed in crash in Bullhead City
On Friday, a tragic crash in Bullhead City left one woman dead and another in recovery. According to the Bullhead City Police Department, the accident occurred at 10:10 a.m. near North Oatman Road and Bullhead Parkway. A 33-year-old woman had failed to yield at the intersection, crashing into a blue Dodge Dart. The 88-year-old passenger was rushed to the Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, where she later passed away. The 84-year-old driver was also taken to the Medical Center and was reported to be stable on Friday. However, due to the weather, hospital staff had to wait to airlift her to a Las Vegas hospital. The 33-year-old woman was cited and released by police. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, and the investigation is ongoing.
