Crash On I-580 In Carson City Leaves Pedestrian Dead
Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a crash that left a female pedestrian dead near Carson City, Wednesday afternoon. The accident happened at around 5:30 p.m., on I-580 northbound between North Carson Street and Eastlake Boulevard.
First responders at the scene pronounced the adult female victim dead at the scene.
Evidence at the scene suggests that a vehicle traveling northbound struck the victim who was in the travel lanes.
Police are still investigating the crash and looking for witnesses. The vehicle involved has not been identified and it is not known if impairment was involved as this is an on-going investigation.
