A semi and horse trailer crash on I-580 caused quite a backup in Carson City, NV
At approximately 6:36am on Wednesday morning, members of the Carson City Fire Department, Nevada State Police, and Sheriff’s Deputies were summoned to the southbound lane of I-580, south of the Eastlake exit, in response to a collision between a semi and a truck with a horse trailer. Although no injuries were reported among the humans involved in the incident, it is understood that a few of the horses sustained injuries. Initially, the crash was reported as a semi on fire, and the incident blocked southbound traffic.
