A man who was 55 years-old is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Las Vegas
Tragically, a 55-year-old man lost his life early Saturday morning after being struck by a car in the northeast Las Vegas valley. Evidence at the scene indicated that a 2020 Toyota Rav4 was travelling southbound on Nellis Boulevard, while the pedestrian was crossing the street outside of a marked or implied crosswalk. The collision occurred when the pedestrian crossed in front of the Toyota and was struck by the vehicle, knocking him to the ground. Emergency services arrived on the scene and transported the pedestrian to UMC by ambulance, however he was later pronounced dead. The occupants of the Toyota reported no injuries from the collision, and police believe that impairment was not a contributing factor in this incident. However, the investigation is still ongoing.
