Man Dies After Being Trapped Between A Tractor-Trailer And A Loading Dock In The Northeast Valley
A 32-year-old Ohio man was killed Tuesday after being trapped between a tractor-trailer and a loading dock in the northeast valley, according to police.
Surveillance and evidence at the scene showed that a 2015 Volvo tractor-trailer arrived at the private property at East Cheyenne Avenue and was backing into a loading dock that was a few feet from the bay door at around 4:49 p.m. according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
According to police the driver was standing behind the truck when the tractor-trailer suddenly went into reverse and pinned him against the dock and the bumper of the truck.
The truck driver was identified as a 32-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio was found several hours later and pronounced dead at the scene.
