Two Vehicle Crash On I-15 Near Mesquite , Leaves One Dead And One Injured Thursday Morning
The Moapa Valley was the scene of a deadly crash involving a commercial truck and a sedan early Thursday morning, according to Nevada State Police.
The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. on the southbound I-15 near mile marker 105, about 15 miles south of Mesquite. Mesquite is about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas. This accident will have a direct affect on morning traffic heading in and out of Las Vegas.
According to police the accident involved a commercial truck and a sedan.One person was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, while another was taken to the hospital via helicopter with unknown injuries. The cause of the crash has not been released and it is unknown when the area will reopen to traffic.
