Northeast Las Vegas Motorcycle Crash Leaves Rider Dead
Just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning a crash involving a single motorcycle rider left a man dead according to police. The accident happened near the intersection of Carey Avenue and Christy Lane in northeast Las Vegas.
Police reported that the motorcyclist was driving west on Carey Avenue when he hit a curve in the road and went off the road and was thrown from the vehicle hitting a light pole.
First responders pronounced the 22 year-old Las Vegas man dead at the scene. It is not known if impairment or speed played a role in the crash. This is the 94th traffic related fatality in the LVMPD’s jurisdiction this year. The crash is currently under investigation.
