Two Killed In Crash on 1-80 In Reno Near Robb Drive
The Washoe County Medical Examiner has identified two people that were killed in a crash on 4th of July.
28 year old Christian Alicea was found dead at the scene of the accident, while 25 year old Jacob Meritt was pronounced dead of his injuries just after arriving at Renown Regional Medical Center. Both died of injuries from blunt force trauma from the crash.
Nevada State Police Stated that the crash involved two vehicles, with the first car hitting the guardrail and than turning over. The two deceased victims were in that car.
The people in the second car were not taken to the hospital or treated for injuries.
Westbound I-80 was backed up for miles as police investigated the incident.
