Two Dead After Wrong Way Crash On The 215 Near The 95 Interchange
At approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday two people were killed after a wrong way, head-on collision. Police responded to an accident near Jones on the Westbound 215.
A vehicle heading the wrong way hit another vehicle head-on causing both vehicles to catch fire at the scene.
The driver of the wrong way vehicle was found dead at scene of the crash. The other vehicle with two people inside, the driver was also pronounced dead at the scene while the passenger was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A third vehicle was also involved in the crash but the occupant was not taken for medical treatment. The area was closed for several hours causing major traffic delays.
