Two children killed in UTV accident in Fallon, NV
The Churchill Sherriff’s Office reported a tragic accident on Sunday at the Sand Mountain Recreation area. The reports said that two children who were passengers in a side-by-side UTV were tragically killed in an accident. The UTV was being operated by an adult. The children suffered significant injuries and pronounced dead following the accident. Their identity has not been revealed. The recreation area remained closed for some time following this incident. It is not believed that alcohol or drugs played a part.

Though official statistics aren’t generally kept for these sort of incidents a significant number of people are injured and killed each month in various parks in the state of Nevada.
