Two-Car Accident Leaves One Dead In Pahrump Over The Weekend

Nevada State Police Highway Patrol were called to an accident in Pahrump over the weekend that left one person dead.

The accident happened around 7:53 p.m. Saturday, July 25th at the intersection of Manse Road and Money Street.

Police believe that a 2015 Nissan Sentra was traveling south on Money Street failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the path of a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle that then crashed into the side of the Nissan.

The driver of the Volkswagen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 61 year-old man later died from his injuries. The driver of the Nissan was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This is the 41st fatality in the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command’s jurisdiction so far this year.
