Rollover Crash Causes Fuel Spill And Delays On I-15 Northeast Of The Valley
A fuel spill caused major delays on the I-15 Northeast of the valley yesterday. All northbound lanes of the I-15 past the 169 towards Bunkerville were closed for a fuel spill that stemmed from a rollover crash involving a fuel tanker and a vehicle.
According to reports the semi-tractor trailer diesel fuel truck struck a disabled vehicle in the right lane, causing the semi truck to go left into the center median, where it rolled over onto its side.
The driver of the disabled vehicle was able to get out before the crash and the driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash caused major delays on the I-15 while crews removed the fuel and trucks removed debris.
