Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By A Drunk Driver In North Las Vegas
A 67 year old woman has been killed while crossing Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas.
A man driving a 1998 Acura Sedan has been arrested and taken into custody on reckless driving and DUI charges.
The unidentified woman was walking outside the crosswalk, east of the intersection when she was struck by 29 year Luis Lopez who was driving the Acura.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene from her injuries. Lopez was taken to North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center where he was booked. The North La Vegas Police are seeking information regarding this incident.
