One Moped Rider Dead One Injured After Being Hit By Two Vehicles
A fatal hit and run was reported on Flamingo Road and Cameron Street late Thursday night ,August 22nd.
Police reported two drivers hit a moped that was being used by two riders.
The drivers of the two vehicles both fled the scene. the two riders of the moped were injured. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the male rider’s injuries were considered to be minor.
The two driver reportedly were heading eastbound on Flamingo when they hit the moped and both fled the scene.
Police have since located one of the vehicle drivers and they are currently in custody. Police believe that impairment was a factor in this accident.
