One Man Dead In Henderson Pedestrian Crash, Wednesday
Henderson police were called to the scene of an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle. The accident happened Wednesday morning around 11:45 a.m. near the 1600 Block of Warm Springs Road.
Police said that the preliminary investigation concluded that a White chevy SUV was driving through a parking lot and began to go in reverse. An 80 year-old man who was walking behind the vehicle was stuck.</p.
The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital to be treated for injuries but died on Thanksgiving. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Speed or impairment were not considered to be a factor in the accident.
