One killed in hit-and-run mystery in Las Vegas, NV
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have reported a fatal incident on Boulder Highway and Gibson Road. A single individual was found at the scene, unconscious and unresponsive, and was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The vehicle responsible for the hit-and-run was not located, leaving the cause of the tragedy undetermined. The LVMP is currently investigating the accident to ascertain the specifics of the crash, including whether or not alcohol or drugs were involved.

From 2015 to 2019, the number of pedestrian fatalities and fatal crashes generally increased. A total of 378 fatalities and 368 fatal pedestrian incidents occurred on Nevada roadways.
