One Dead After Two Cars Hit A Pedestrian In Spring Valley
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were called to an accident involving a pedestrian and teo cars in Spring Valley Thursday evening, February 6th. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. near South Decatur Blvd north of West Reno Avenue.
According to police a 2019 Toyota Tundra was heading north on Decatur in the right lane, at the same time a 2024 Hyundai Elantra was also traveling north on Decatur in the center lane. A person at the same time walked into the road outside the marked crosswalk and came into the path of the Toyota. The front left of the Toyota hits the pedestrian sending the pedestrian into the center lane where they were hit by the Hyundai.
Both people in the vehicle stopped at the scene and remained there. Authorities said that neither of the drivers were impanired.
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The victim has yet to be identified. Police are continuing to investigate this accident.
