Motorcyclist killed after pickup makes unsafe u-turn in Las Vegas
Nevada State Police reported that a motorcyclist tragically died in a crash with a Chevrolet pickup truck overnight Tuesday. The accident occurred in the east valley on Lake Mead Boulevard and Arnona Road around 1:25 a.m. According to police, the Chevrolet was stopped in a dirt shoulder north of Lake Mead Boulevard east of Arnona Road when the driver made an unsafe U-Turn, driving into the path of the motorcyclist who was riding east on Lake Mead. The motorcyclist was ejected from the Yamaha and died at the scene. The Chevrolet was occupied by three women, none of whom reported any injuries to police.
