Middle-aged pedestrian was killed in Henderson, Nevada


A fatal accident occurred in Henderson, NV early Wednesday morning. The Henderson Police Department reported that around 2 a.m., a man in his 40s or 50s was struck by a white 2021 Chevrolet pickup truck while walking outside of a marked crosswalk near South Boulder Highway and Horizon Drive. The victim was wearing dark colored clothing at the time of the accident. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Neither impairment nor speed are thought to have been factors in the crash. The victim`s identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner`s Office once next of kin are notified.

The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
