Jay-walking man dies from hit-and-run in Las Vegas
On Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m., an adult man was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in the 1900 block of Nellis Boulevard, at the intersection of E. Lake Mead and Nellis boulevards. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that the man had been jaywalking when he was struck by a sedan. A witness observed the incident and saw the sedan drive away from the scene. When officers arrived, the man was already deceased.

From 2015 to 2019, a total of 378 pedestrian fatalities and 368 fatal incidents occurred on roadways in Nevada. Generally, the number of these fatalities and crashes increased.
