Crash On I-15 Near Spring Mountain Causes Major Delays Friday Morning
Nevada Highway Patrol reported a vehicle accident with injury early Friday morning on the I-15 near the Spring Mountain area. This crash was reported early during the Friday commute around 6:30 a.m. leaving drivers stuck with a major backup as traffic was brought to a standstill when three lanes of the Northbound I-15 were blocked by a two vehicle accident. The accidents caused traffic to be backed up to at least Tropicana.
Police later confirmed that the accident did involve two vehicle with possible injuries. Since the investigation is ongoing the cause of the crash has not be released. First responders were at the scene to take the injured ro area hospitals , it is not known if any persons involved in the accident were transported with injuries.
This accident caused delays late into the morning commute while police investigated and cleaned up the crash scene.
