Car That Fled A Traffic Stop Leaves Bicyclist Dead And Another Injured
Police were attempting a traffic stop around 7:30 a.m. around Steward Avenue and Lamb Boulevard Wednesday morning when the suspect vehicle fled the scene of the stop.
The suspect vehicle hit another vehicle at the intersection of Lamb Blvd. and Steward Avenue. The suspect vehicle than hit a bicyclist before eventually crashing into a wall.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personal. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The driver of the suspect vehicle was arrested at the scene. Police are continuing to investigate this deadly crash.
