Bicyclist injured in accident in Las Vegas

On Tuesday, a cyclist was hospitalized following a collision with a sedan in the western area of Las Vegas. The incident occurred at 3:21 p.m. on April 30, and authorities were called to the scene. After investigating, it was concluded that neither speed nor alcohol played a role in the crash. The identity of the cyclist has not been released to the public, but the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) stated that they were in a “stable” condition.

According to a state report, 72 pedestrians and 14 bicyclists were killed on Clark County roads by the end of 2022.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
