73 year-old man from Las Vegas killed on motorcycle in death valley area
On Saturday morning at 10:50 a.m., a 73-year-old man from Las Vegas was involved in a fatal accident in Death Valley National Park. According to park officials, the man lost control of his motorcycle while navigating a curvy section of Highway 190 between Panamint Springs Resort and Father Crowley Point. The motorcycle slid into the other lane and struck the front of an oncoming vehicle. California Highway Patrol, National Park Service and the Inyo County Coroner’s Officers responded to the scene, where the man was pronounced dead.
