One Person Injured, Motorcycle Accident In Las Vegas


The collision occurred at Boulder and Horizon Drive at approximately 3:30pm. Police said that a motorcycle and SUV were involved in the collision. The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control and crossed paths with the Honda CRV traveling eastbound, according to officials. The motorcycle driver, who was 38, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Sunrise Trauma Hospital. The victims identity has not been released at this time.

There were roughly 30 motorcyclist deaths in Clark County in 2022, up 25% from the year before. A motorcycle rider is far more likely to be injured in any sort of crash so it is important to be careful out there.

Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
