Multi vehicle and bicycle accident kills one


According to police a bizarre accident occurred on Saturday between a couple of bicyclists and nine motor-vehicles in Las Vegas near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo. The bicyclists suffered major injuries and one of them was pronounced dead on scene while the other was rushed to the hospital. The police did not reveal the identities of those involved or any more information regarding the circumstances surrounding this incident.

For 2022, the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin says Bicycle fatalities and injuries are up another 5% this year.

Help in a Crisis

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
