Hit-and-run driver crashes a second time, in critical condition in Las Vegas


On Saturday night, a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in North Las Vegas crashed and is now in critical condition. The North Las Vegas Police Department reported the incident around 10:42 p.m. at W. Ann Road and Allen Lane. The driver of a gray F150 had previously been in a collision with a newer model Ford Raptor at the intersection of Aviary Way and Common Loon Lane near Aviary Park. The driver of the Ford Raptor was unharmed. The F150 was carrying both a passenger and driver, both of whom sustained non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the F150 is currently in critical condition. According to police investigation, speed and impairment are believed to be factors in the accident. Medical personnel responded and transported the driver of the F150, as well as the driver and passenger from the Chevy to UMC Trauma for treatment.
