Pedestrian struck and killed by several vehicles on i15 in Las Vegas


On Wednesday evening, tragedy struck on the I-15 north of Apex, Nevada, when a pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene. The exact circumstances of the incident remain unknown, however Nevada State Police has confirmed that the pedestrian was in the northbound travel lanes when the incident occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the victim and their loved ones at this difficult time.

Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
