Pedestrian critical in accident involving vehicle who fled the scene in Las Vegas
Las Vegas police were looking for a driver who had hit a pedestrian in a neighborhood near Red Rock Casino on Friday. According to investigators, the pedestrian had been hit in the 1700 block of Morro Vista Drive at 2:17 p.m. The police had stated that the pedestrian had been taken to the hospital in critical condition. However, the vehicle involved in the accident did not stay at the scene.
The incident occurred on Friday, but the search for the driver continued into the following week. The Las Vegas police had released a statement, asking for any witnesses or anyone with information about the hit-and-run to come forward. They also provided a description of the vehicle, which was described as a dark-colored sedan with front-end damage. The police believed that the vehicle would have significant damage to its front bumper and windshield.
