Pedestrian Hit, Police Looking For Driver In North Las Vegas Hit And Run

Police are searching for the driver of a van who appears to have hit a pedestrian in North Las Vegas.

The accident happened at 1:40 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Craig Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

According to police, video released shows the driver of a white van, possibly a 2013 to 2018 Nissan NV 200 leaving the scene after hitting a pedestrian.

The driver appears to be wearing a red shirt, grayish shorts and gray or white sneakers. According to a police press release the driver was heading eastbound on Craig Road approaching the MLK Boulevard intersection and hit the pedestrian who was walking in the marked cross walk. Police are unsure who had the right of way at the time of the incident.

Driver appears to stop and get out of the van walked toward the pedestrian and turns around reenters the van and fled the scene heading eastbound on Craig Road. No information has been given about the pedestrian victims identity or injuries.

Police are seeking the publics help in this case.
