Elderly Man Dies Of Injuries After North Las Vegas Crash
A crash involving an Infiniti SUV and a Chevrolet pickup truck in North Las Vegas Tuesday morning caused the death of an elderly man.
A 78 year old man dies of his injuries at the hospital after the crash that took place on North Commerce Street and West Craig Road.
According to police, the 58 year old driver of the SUV weas driving westbound on Craig Road and did not stop at a red light. The SUV than struck the front of the Chevy pickup that was attempting to make a left turn to head north on Commerce Street.
The elderly man was a passenger in the SUV and was in and out of consciousness and passed away at UMC Trauma Center.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital for injuries that were non life threatening. The driver of the pickup later drove himself to the hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries. Impairment is not suspected in this case.
