Tropicana And I-11 Closed Due To Deadly Motorcycle Crash Early Friday Morning
Nevada Highway Patrol are investigating the deadly crash that closed all lanes on the I-11 at the Tropicana Interchange. The accident happened at around 2:47 p.m. and involved a motorcycle and a pick-up truck.
First responders pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene. The driver of the pick-up truck remained at the scene and was cooperative with police.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and the area at the accident site was closed for several hours while police worked the scene, causing traffic delays in the area.
The deceased motorcycle rider has not been identified pending the notification of the next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation.
