Reno Police Looking For A Vehicle In Deadly Hit-N-Run, Wednesday
The Reno Police Department is searching for a vehicle and any witnesses that were at the scene of a deadly hit-n-run early Wednesday morning. The accident happened at Kietzke Lane around 4:55 a.m. and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
According to police they are looking for a Silver 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza with driver side damage including missing parts of the front bumper and headlight damage.
Police believe this is the vehicle that was involved in the crash that left a pedestrian dead. The driver of the vehicle was traveling northbound when it struck the female pedestrian in a low-lit area and she was not in the crosswalk, the driver then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The victim has not be identified pending notification of next kin. Reno Police Department Major Accident Investigation is investigating this case and looking for witnesses and the driver of the vehicle.
