Pedestrian Injured in a Single Vehicle Accident in Las Vegas Valley
Around 9:30 p.m. on Friday a pedestrian was injured in a single-vehicle accident near Lake Mead and MLK according to police. Traffic was shut down in the immediate area out of caution.
It was reported that the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries. The pedestrian suffered critical non-life threatening injuries from the crash. Police did say that the driver of the car stayed on the scene after the accident. Pedestrians need to be extra careful walking around Las Vegas as more and more cars are on the roads.
The intersection was reported to have reopened sometime after 11 p.m. that night.
