Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash with a Porche Taycan near Nellis Blvd in Las Vegas

On Thursday night June 29, a motorcyclist was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the incident occurred at 10:09 p.m. at North Nellis Boulevard and Cedar Avenue. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 2021 Porsche Taycan 4S and a 2021 Harley Davidson Road Glide motorcycle were both traveling north on Nellis when the Porsche moved into the middle lane and was rear-ended by the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was thrown off the motorcycle and onto the roadway. Medical personnel transported the motorcyclist to University Medical Center’s Trauma Unit, where they last reported he was in critical condition.
