Man, 35 years-old struck and killed by LVMPD vehicle in Las Vegas, NV


Tragically, a 35-year-old man has passed away after being struck by a vehicle in North Las Vegas on Tuesday evening. According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the incident occurred at 8:38 p.m. on North Martin Luther King Boulevard, south of Balzar Avenue. Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated that a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado was travelling south on North MLK Boulevard when the pedestrian, who was walking on the east side of the road, crossed to the west side outside of a marked or implied crosswalk. The pedestrian entered the path of the approaching vehicle and was struck. Emergency medical personnel transported the pedestrian to the University Medical Center`s Trauma Unit in critical condition, but despite all life-saving measures the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries shortly after his arrival and was pronounced dead by trauma staff.
