Driver in critical condition after accident near Sahara and Nellis

According to an LVMPD release, the crash had happened near E. Sahara Ave. and S. Nellis Blvd. at approximately 7:43 a.m. on Tuesday. Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and video surveillance had indicated that a 2018 Nissan Altima had exited a private drive onto the 4800 block of E. Sahara, traveling northbound. A 2017 Dodge Caravan had approached the private drive eastbound on E. Sahara and the crash had occurred when the Nissan had begun making a left turn onto E. Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
