Drive killed when ejected during rollover accident i n the NW Las Vegas Valley
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that a 62-year-old man had died in a single-vehicle crash northwest of Las Vegas on Monday around 11:14 a.m.
Police said the driver had failed to maintain its travel lane, veering off to the right. After overcorrecting, the truck drove left of center and off the roadway to the left. It continued across the desert for about a quarter mile before its front hit a raised dirt berm.
The truck rotated and came to rest on its roof about 50 feet east of the berm. The driver was ejected from the truck and died at the scene.
