Crash On US-50 In Carson City Leaves One Dead Sunday
US-50 in Carson City was the scene of a deadly accident Sunday afternoon. According to Nevada State Police the collision happened at around 5:34 p.m. on US-50 at Drako Way.
The collision involved a motorcycle and a truck. According to first responders the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police suspect impairment may have played a role in the crash, it has not been determined which driver may been impaired.
The investigation and clean up took several hours and reduced lanes during that time. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of the next of kin. This is an on-going investigation.
