Crash Leaves Rider Of Stolen Motorcycle Dead In East Valley
Police responded to a deadly crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle Thursday night at around 5:36 p.m. at Lamb Boulevard and Karen Avenue.
According to police a stolen 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle was heading north on Lamb when at the same time a 2021 Kia Soul was stopped facing south, to make a left turn from Lamb onto Karen Avenue. The stolen motorcycle hit the right side of the Kia as it was making the left turn and the rider of the motorcycle was ejected.
First responders attempted life saving measures for the motorcycle rider but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Kia remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, and displayed no signs of impairment. The driver of the Kia was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is continuing to investigate the crash.
