Bus accident on McCarren Blvd injures 4 in Reno
The Reno police department said that on Thursday the 10th of November at around 6:17pm a city RTC bus collided with a passenger vehicle on McCarren Blvd injuring 4 people including the auto driver who was taken to an area hospital. The three injured on the bus were taken to hospital as well and all are expected to recover fully. The impact was strong enough to remove three feet of paneling at the rear of the bus so all are thankful the accident wasn’t more serious. The roadway remained blocked as police investigated.

Help in a Crisis
Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.
Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
