1 Killed and 2 Injured in Las Vegas


A deadly crash took place near Lake Mead and Rainbow this morning according to Las Vegas Metro Police. It started when a driver initially fled from police. The police then began looking for the vehicle they had first contacted near Charleston and Cimarron. Police eventually located the vehicle with three people in it. But the suspect driver struck another vehicle, killing one person as they fled police. The other two occupants were taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Help in a Crisis

Following a traumatic event, people often feel helpless, confused, and experience emotional shock. They are confronted with a situation for which they are totally unprepared.

Often there is no one available in the immediate aftermath of a tragedy to guide the victims through these difficult hours. The TIP volunteer provides this necessary temporary support until persons involved in the crisis are able to depend on family, friends, neighbors, and other resources in the community.
