They say to get to know someone, walk a mile in their shoes. N ia Killebrew walks with her clients every step of the way on their journey to justice, doing her best to smoothen the bumpy road to recovery. Nia represents injured people and the families of loved ones lost because of defective products, medical malpractice and mass casualty events. She has obtained numerous million and multi-million-dollar settlements and awards. Nia served as one of the lead counsel on the 2008 Southern Nevada hepatitis outbreak cases, which culminated in several multi-million-dollar jury verdicts. “The most rewarding part of my practice is being able to represent individuals,” Nia said. “Being entrusted with telling their stories and righting their wrongs is a privilege few have, and I take great pride and honor in being able to represent their interests.” Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Nia obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba with a dual major in Political Science and Sociology. Nia then attended Southwestern University School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctorate at 23. Outside of work, Nia is a busy mother of three and sports fan, who enjoys watching her children play competitive lacrosse and cheering on the home team, Vegas Golden Knights. “The firm is a second family and a place I look forward to coming to practice law every day. I continue to grow from the experience of those around me and feel truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful firm.” 7
