Westbound Route 80 Closed Due To Fiery Crash In Reno
The crash occurred near Robb Road on the westbound Route 80 early Saturday morning around 1:30 a.m.
The crash caused the 80 to be closed while the fire was put out and police investigated the scene.
The crash was reported by The Reno Police Department, however the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and REMSA responded to the scene.
A witness reported that the vehicle caught fire and one person attempted to put it out but the vehicle than reignited engulfing the vehicle.
The traffic was rerouted onto Robb Drive while the accident was cleared. The police have not commented on injuries or the cause of the incident at this time. The Nevada State Police have taken over the investigation at this time.
