Pedestrian vs Auto Incident In Reno
The Reno Police Department has stated an accident has occurred in Reno on Tuesday night between a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.
The incident occurred close to Keystone Avenue & Kings Row. The pedestrian was found by police in the road.
The police said a gray 4-door passenger car was traveling in Reno. The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle and then the driver fled the scene.
The pedestrian sustained minor injuries. The police dept has not released the identity of the pedestrian in this case thus far.
The police departments investigation team are investigating whether distracted driving, alchohol etc played a factor in the crash.
From 2015 to 2019, the number of pedestrian fatalities and fatal crashes generally increased. A total of 378 fatalities and 368 fatal pedestrian incidents occurred on Nevada roadways.
