Vehicle fled the scene after accident on Decatur Blvd
Detectives were seeking the public’s assistance in locating a driver who had hit and critically injured a pedestrian on Thursday night before driving away. The incident had taken place on Washington Avenue at N. Yale Street, which is located just west of Decatur Boulevard. This information was provided by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. According to the police, the collision had been reported at 8:24 p.m. on Thursday. The victim, a woman, had been hit by a pickup truck and had been transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. The detectives were now searching for a late model, light-colored single-cab long bed pickup truck. ”After the collision, the truck had fled the scene,” the police had stated.
