Las Vegas Reckless Driving Collisions
Sharing the roadway with reckless drivers is a harsh reality when traveling in Las Vegas. The city is known for being unsafe for drivers, with multiple studies citing that Nevada has some of the worst drivers in the country. Human error is involved in an estimated 19 out of 20 reported crashes each year across the country. Reckless driving is responsible for nearly 30% of reported car accidents reported annually. On average, 13,000 fatal traffic accidents that occur annually are attributable to reckless driving, accounting for nearly one-third of roadway deaths in a given year.
Pursuing deserved compensation can be difficult after being injured in a car accident, and crash victims who negotiate with the insurance company may find themselves in a difficult situation. Despite what they may say, the insurance company wants to make you accept the lowest settlement possible, and that means minimizing your compensation following a car crash. Medical bills, missed work, and emotional suffering all add up quickly, and crash victims are entitled to recover compensation by pursuing a personal injury claim. If you have been injured in a serious Las Vegas car crash, you need to contact a qualified Nevada car accident lawyer immediately.
