Los Angeles, CA (July 28, 2020) – Six people received varying degrees of injury during a car accident along East Century Boulevard in the city of Los Angeles on Monday, July 27th.
As indicated by a local news source, at about 7:40 p.m., two vehicles collided with one another in the 400 block of East Century Boulevard by South Avalon Boulevard in the Green Meadows neighborhood.
Officers from the California Highway Patrol and firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department were both dispatched to the scene of the accident. Upon arrival, they discovered that several victims had been injured during the collision.
According to officials at the scene, two of the accident victims were given medical care at the crash site. They also stated that four more victims, one of whom was listed in critical condition, endured trauma that was too severe for on-site treatment.
Four of the six injured parties were transported via ambulance to a nearby medical facility for additional critical emergency aid.
Crash investigators from the California Highway Patrol are working to determine cause and liability in the accident.
