Las Vegas, NV (August 14, 2020) – A boom lift accident injured a construction worker who was working at Allegiant Stadium yesterday morning.
The accident took place in the morning hours of Thursday, August 14 when for unknown reasons, a worker utilizing a boom lift outside of Allegiant Stadium was injured. The worker was completing touch-up work on the exterior of the stadium when the injury occurred.
The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by Mortenson-McCarthy. The worker, who remains unidentified at this time, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The construction technician was awake and alert after the accident and is expected to make a full recovery.
Additional details concerning the accident were not immediately available.
No further information has been provided at this time.
An investigation into the circumstances of the accident will be carried out by local officials.
